The longer you live in a place, the more stuff accumulates–it’s just a law of life. I’ve lived in my two-bedroom Alameda apartment for about 7 years now. I’ve had two roommates, and have lived here alone twice.
I have a lot of stuff.

I’m moving to Portland in June, and most of it, I can’t take with me. The house I’m moving to is fully and well appointed, so I have the task before me of deciding what to bring, and what to leave. It’s not all that hard, but objects have lives, and stories, and I thought I’d write some of them down.
About Me
I’m Eva. I’m a 25-year-old female. I’m leaving the San Francisco Bay Area, which is where I grew up, and moving to Portland, OR, which is where I want to be. I am a professional writer and editor, though if I describe it to you in detail, it will sound a lot less glamorous.
